A great weekend!

Friday we had the first part of our missions fest at Church. We had dinner and fellowship with 17 missionaries from around the world. It was a great time and message.

Then Saturday the soccer team I’m coaching played their last game for the season. I couldn’t be more proud of them as a coach. They brought everything into that game we had been practicing so hard towards and we won. The great part is they played harder then they’ve ever played as a team. The worked together to get the job done from the first whistle to the last. The team they played had beaten us the last time we played so it was very exciting for us. Gabe scored three goals and was very excited. After the game we had a team party and handed out trophy’s to the boys.

Then Sunday we had missionaries from missions fest in the Sunday school classes sharing what God is doing all over the world. I got to hear Mike Fisher speak about what he is doing in Myanmar. Wow, it was incredible. I’m feeling ready for my next short term trip. If you’ve never gone I highly recommend it. To top the weekend off we had Rick and Carol Stark, missionaries from Brazil for dinner at our home group and they truly blessed us as well. 

Man it was a great weekend, God is so good, he even carried it over into my week, I got to meet with a friend I hadn’t connected with in a while for coffee and was blessed by him. God is so good, even in the little things he is so good.
